Last November, HPSO extended an invitation to do a demonstration of woodland  arrangements at the Yard, Garden and Patio Show this past weekend. It was time to put on that extroverted hat again!

It seemed like a good idea to make 3 sample arrangements ahead of time. A huge thank you to Ted Mishima for taking these wonderful photos in my back yard, before heading to the Convention Center.

And many thanks to Nancy Goldman for offering this opportunity!

Last Friday Schoolhouse Supplies, an organization that connects members of the community with students in over 130 schools throughout the Portland Public School district, had it’s annual fundraiser at the Portland Art Museum. The fundraiser was a huge success!!!!

It was a pleasure to sponsor the flowers for this special event. Joni Shimabukuro and Andie Petkus were the photographers extraordinaires!

Every year  the Flower Market produces a  Fall/Holiday Design Show at the end of  September; the 4 wholesalers usually invite and sponsor out-of-state designers to participate in this event.

A huge Thank You! to Joe at  Billingsley, for inviting  me to participate this year. It was so much fun to make all those woodland arrangements! A bit daunting to be in front of so many people, but it all worked out fabulously.

Suzette (from Twigs), I loved the structures that you created for some of the designs – thank you!

Joni documented the event and captured so many details. You are such a gem my friend!
