Kale!

Monday, February 20th, 2012

Kale is such a favorite vegetable to use in arrangements. I love the curly 3d texture and that kale is readily available at the grocery store year around. Simply re-cut the stems and put them in water and they will last for at least a week.

Magical Hellebore

Monday, January 9th, 2012

Last week the first hellebore started to bloom in the garden. This exquisite winter flowering plant is such a treasure, especially at this time of the year… and it is such a treat that they bloom for months. Hellebores are difficult to come by at the flower market, so I've planted a lot of them in the garden.
