Hellebore!

The magical  hellebores have been blloming in the garden for a couple of months now . This exquisite winter flowering plant is such a treasure, especially at this time of the year… and it is such a treat that they bloom for months. What we actually think of as the flower petals are the sepals. Hellebores are difficult to come by at the flower market, so I’ve planted a lot of them in the garden. Once that they have hardened off, they do really well as a cut flowers, as well in vase arrangements as in foam. Just like hydrangeas, they change color as they harden off.

I’m loving the hellebores in my garden this year. I was looking at them today and rembered seeing your arrangements with them about a year ago. I decided to try and find your site again. I’m so glad I did! They are even better than I rembered. You are so gifted. Each arrangement is a magical woodland micro universe. I find you work exciting and creatively inspiring. I’m going to gather up some moss, twigs, and a few select blossoms and try creating a little magic of my own.

    Thanks so much
