Monday, December 31st, 2012A while back, I was contacted by a Production Company GeoBeats, Inc., ' an award-winning online video network .
This is one of the videos that was produced; it features a woodland bridal bouquet. You can learn how to make these detailed textural bouquets in the woodland workshop that I am offering on January 28, 29 & 30 in my studio in Portland, OR.

New Website!
Friday, December 21st, 2012Today I am thrilled to announce that my second website, Atelier Botanique Françoise Weeks, which focuses on the workshops and classes, has been launched. The other website now is dedicated to the weddings and events only. Numerous links connect both websites, so all the information and pictures are easy to find.
You will find slideshows and explicit details for all the workshops and classes for the next 6 months as well as all the information for the workshop that I will be teaching in Los Angeles at the end of March. This wedding/event workshop is hosted by Lori Eschler Frystak with Blossom Alliance on March 26, 27 and 28.
A huge thank you to my fabulous we designers, Josh and Qiana Rickabaugh Rich with Quoin Design. As always their creativity, work and customer service are impeccable!

Textured Bridal Bouquet with Orchids
Monday, December 10th, 2012Earlier this year Smithers-Oasis introduced 'European square and round bouquet holders'. The square ones are 7"x7" and the round ones are 7.5" in diameter.
I was thrilled. When I started making detailed woodland bridal bouquets a few years ago I had figured out a way to create a thin broad oasis base; it required a fair amount of prep work.
Buying these holders would be much easier! Design possibilities are endless. I have used them to make woodland bridal bouquets; here is something different:
