Wedding Workshops are intensive and inspiring, providing insights and techniques developed over many years of European floral design. Classes begin with a lecture and presentation, where your input and questions are welcomed.

After a demonstration of floral techniques and mechanics, you will design your own pieces. You will hone your artistic talents, and will be encouraged to listen to your intuition and further your own vision. Classes are limited to four students to ensure valuable individual attention.

Dates: Monday June 20, Tuesday June 21, Wednesday June 22

Time: 9am til 4pm (1 hour lunch break)

Where: At Françoise’s Studio

Cost: $900 – A 50% deposit is requested to reserve your space; the balance is due by June 6th.

 

Day 1: Reception Flowers

Focus: Observe what’s involved in consultations, proposals and contracts. Design elements for the reception, including centerpieces, arrangements for buffets and mantles, cake decorations.

Day 2: Ceremony Flowers

Focus: Here you’ll get a look at the intricacies of sourcing, ordering and pricing flowers. Find out why streamlining workload is essential. Design elements for the ceremony, including altar, candelabra and pew arrangements, and chuppah decorations.

Day 3: Personal Flowers

Focus: How does Françoise come up with new ideas and how does she promote her passion? Design flowers for the wedding party, including the bridal and bridesmaid’s bouquets, headwreaths, pomanders, corsages and boutonniers.
