Monday September 22 – Woodland Arrangements
In this workshop you will learn the mechanics behind creating textural and detailed designs that will expand the way you think about flowers. This workshop offers practical, hands-on experience that will further develop your own skills and increase your confidence to explore outside the box. After a demonstration of techniques and mechanics, you will design your own centerpiece and woodland bridal bouquet using foliage, bark, berries, seedpods, twigs, mushrooms, herbs and some flowers. You will hone your artistic talents and will be encouraged to listen to your own intuition and further your own vision. We’ll also talk about the intricacies of sourcing, ordering and pricing flowers.
Tuesday September 23 – Headpieces and Jewelry
We will design a botanical headpiece, flower crowns, botanical rings and other jewelry etc,… We’ll also cover what’s involved in consultations, proposals and contracts and will discuss marketing ideas.

Testimonial from a student:
I drove 8 hours to attend Françoise’s workshop. It was worth every mile. Françoise’s style and techniques helped to expand my floral design skills. Working with more vegetation than flowers requires thinking about 3 dimensions, textures, space and movement. Françoise provides great demonstrations, lots of techniques and a gentle and supportive environment that allows participants to practice while creating their own style. To me, this was the next leap I needed in my floral design career. This is very trendy and eco chic.
