The parents of my friend Gwen own a farm and several hundreds of acres of forest in Wisconsin. We visited them and took advantage of this beautiful setting to do a fun photo shoot. Our friend Theresa was our fabulous photographer.

We harvested in the woods and found lots of varieties of fungi and bark (which I brought back to Portland)

Gwen’s dad helped prepare this cool log; I wanted to insert large fungi that served as ‘shelves’ for the flowers

This shawl was made with hot glue and decorated with jasmin and hellebores

I spray painted this wire mesh and glued flowers on it
