Botanical Fascinator with Alocasia ‘Sting Rae’

It is rare to find foliage of alocasia sting rae at the flower market. I love the shape of this huge leaf as well as the long stem that shows intricate varigation. Any time I see the market, I have to get one to experiment with a new style of botanical headpiece.

For this one I also used foliage of spider plant and cyclamen, as well as kiwi vine, blossoms of nerine lilies, pieris, and cyclamen, wood shavings, succulents, dehydrated mushrooms, ferns and a variety of seedpods.

Thank you Thea for modeling!
