Earlier this year Smithers-Oasis introduced 'European square and round bouquet holders'. The square ones are 7"x7" and the round ones are 7.5" in diameter.
I was thrilled. When I started making detailed woodland bridal bouquets a few years ago I had figured out a way to create a thin broad oasis base; it required a fair amount of prep work.
Buying these holders would be much easier! Design possibilities are endless. I have used them to make woodland bridal bouquets; here is something different:
During Monday's class students made a fabulous wreath! Everyone chose their favorites from the wide selection of berries, kumquats, lady apples, eucalyptus pods, rosehips, pepperberries, buts, orange slices, lichens and more.
Let me know if you would like to make your own gorgeous wreath or if you would like to order one – 503-236-5829 or send an email to francoise@francoiseweeks.com

in October I participated in a bridal show at the Benson Hotel. The Wedding Experience was a luxurious mock wedding, produced by Simon and Megan Blanco.
Last week I posted photos of the botanical shoes and purses for the bistro tables; here are some images of the flower towers and the log arrangement in the lobby.
A huge thank you for these great pictures to Mario with Falcusan Photography
