Bird’s Nests

It was such a pleasure to participate in a photo shoot last month. As the set-up was under a lone oak tree, it seemed that a bird’s nest theme would be a fun choice.

Deyla Huss Photography came up with the photo shoot concept and she invited  fabulous vendors to participate:

Decor: Becky Simpson with No Ordinary Affair

Cake:Renae Heineck with  Custom Cakes

Invitations: Angelina Koeppen with Water Lily Invitations

Make up: Jennifer Rand with Face  Body  Beauty

Thank you so much Deyla for the great pictures!

Gypsy Colors

Jewel tones, feathers and beads came to mind when a hand-tied bouquet with gypsy colors was requested for a project.

Peach & Chocolate

The color scheme for the centerpieces at this party was inspired by the book cover of a newly published book.

Having a book published certainly begs for  a celebration!

Red Woodland Bridal Bouquet

The bride requested 50/50 red and green for her woodland bouquet, so I used more flowers and less texture than usual. A variety of mosses, lichens and mushrooms cover the base. The thin green bullion wire secures the string of pearl succulents on the handle.
