Buffet Table Arrangements

Topiares are often great choices for buffet tables: they are tall and striking, yet they don’t take up much space. Sometimes the bride prefers a more traditional arrangement in a vase. If you selected a woodland theme, log arrangements look fabulous!

Tall blue delphiniums ‘grow’ out of a tall square vase, lined with equisitum; lots of texture – seedpods, fruits, grasses, alchimella and unusual foliage – decorates the base.

An arrangement of viburnum, lilac, french tulips , bearded iris and other spring flowers in an angular vase decorates the buffet table; small clusters of flowers, as well as a smilax garland added a nice touch for this reception at the Oswego Lake Country Club.

The mother of the bride provided this silver candelabra; decorated with fushia and purple flowers it looked fabulous on the buffet table.

This bride loved texture; for the buffet arrangement no flowers were used. Grasses, berries, seedpods, and unusual foliage were arranged in this cast iron container, provided by her mother.

A container, covered with rosemary, was perfect for this sunflower topiary. Branches of scotch broom soften the thick stems. Lavender, delphinium blossoms, berries, foliage and seedpods at the base create  a stark contrast.

This upside down tomato cage is embellished with 9 small vases, filled with seasonal flowers. A vine links all the little arrangements. Ideal for a garden wedding!
