The next 3 days at Cohim students learned techniques to make woodland  bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths and log arrangements as well as botanical headpieces. Once again, their designs were fantastic.

The last several years I have made quite a few log arrangements – always for weddings or events. Last month a client asked to make one for her mantle at home. I carefully chose textures and botanicals that would last a very long time and would require minimal care. What a fun project!

When Bethany, co-owner of Charles Little – a wonderful flower farm in the Eugene area – asked if I could make an arrangement for her booth at the design show at the Portland Flower Market last week,  I wanted to incorporate the fabulous porcelain berries that she grows.
