Yesterday Ted Mishima, Candace van Houten and I collaborated on this foto shoot. Lots of snippets of textures, succulents, tillandsias and small phaelonopsis orchids were the main ingredients to make the headpieces, rings and necklace. This was a fun project!  

The last few years my friend Joni – photographer extraordaire – and I have collaborated  on a note card project. This year we chose flower shoes. Here are some of the pictures that Joni took last week – soon I will do a blog post for the new notecards.  

Musing about elegant and out-of-the-box centerpieces?  Botanical shoes would be a fabulous solution! Or consider wearing luscious shoes decorated with feathers, texture and  tillandsias for a special event or your  wedding.  And  coordinate them with a flower purse or a whimsical bouquet.
